Under the strong impact of the revolution of modern science, industrialized-country modernization in the country have developed scientific technology is no longer any other path is seriously working to acquire scientific achievements of the world's technology. It is also the secret of success in Japan, the NIC and many other countries. It demonstrates the tremendous role of technology for the production of material on a global scale in General and every country, every business in particular.

On the basis that, at the same time with the aim of becoming a multidisciplinary Research Institute, most field, in addition to construction, engineering and works also focus on developing areas of training and scientific research as well as production, technology transfer through the expansion of collaboration with many partners in and outside the country. Moreover, present in the context of Vietnam joined WTO Trade Organization. This is an opportunity and a great challenge for the technological development of Vietnam in General and the Institute of geophysics and engineering works in particular. Can find common ground technology of our country is still backward in comparison with developed countries very much. Thus the assimilate and apply these advances on the KH-KT is essential. Therefore, we did not stop efforts to have the very good relationship with domestic and foreign units in operations research and technology transfer under the following main directions

·        Survey of engineering geology on land, on the River, the sea.

·        Weak ground reinforced by geotextile, the piles of stuffed, wicks.

·        Design of wastewater treatment systems and water activities.

·        Survey and forecasting disaster geographic dynamics.

·        The study of physical properties of rocks containing oil, oil and gas properties...

In the future, Institute of geophysics and engineering works will expand further collaboration with the leading enterprises in Vietnam in terms of information technology services, software, telecommunications and internet services.Do not stop there, we will rise to collaboration international stature to maximize capacity, at the same time for learning and transfer of technology components.
